Dumptruck is a Houston based open artist collaborative founded by Mat Wolff, Cory Wagner and Noelle Mason in Fall of 2008. Dumptruck uses performance, video, interviews and whatever to investigate the absurdity of the artists’ life and the process of making art, especially in Texas.

Ongoing projects include the video series, The Waiting Room and the interview series, How to Make Art in Texas. Dumptruck actively engages members of the art community in an open dialogue and collaborative effort to further explore and research that which is the idiom of art making in Texas.

On March 5th and 6th at SMART Art Project Space DumpTruck will be interviewing local San Antonio artists Ken Little, Kimberly Aubuchon, Chris Sauter, Potter-Belmar Labs, and arts writer, Sarah Fisch. Interviews will be filmed during the day and are open to the public. Seating will be limited and the doors locked during each interview for the integrity of the sound recording. For more information and to attend an interview please email dumptrucktexas@gmail.com or call 713-261-2175.
