Carolina G. Flores is a painter known for her "Highway, Landscape and Figurative" work of family and significant people in her life. She maintains her studio in the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. Carolina has exhibited her work throughout the Southwestern US. and  in several permanent collections  - including the residences of the US. ambassador to Belize and Nicaragua through The Art in Embassies Program.
Her work in silk is documented in the Latino Design Archive of the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in New York as part of the Smithsonian Institution.

Carolyn Dee Flores is a contemporary artist and oil painter who specializes in large scale projects and murals. She is also known for her dramatic use of color, particularly in abstract expressionist paintings. Her painting "Search" was featured in KLRN's Studio 9 collection in 2003. Carolyn began her career as a musician in the rock group "Innocent Bystander" and also as a songwriter - placing 4th on CMJ's Certain Damage CD for July 2000 under the name of "DJ Supernatural Powers", and writing many other songs for film and T.V.  Carolyn  is currently working on a children's book, and a book documenting her  "Et Tu" aesthetic.

Carolyn A. Flores is a contemporary artist from New Mexico whose art is
based on the  Hispanic culture. Her art is often  inspired by traditional subject matter - however,  with a twist -   unique style, perspective,  and an amazing use of color. Carolyn's art represents the faith, culture, and vibrancy of the people  of New Mexico. She is most noted for her  "mujeres" series and her "gorditas" series - and other poignant  portraits of women. Carolyn shows often at The Contemporary Hispanic Market in Santa Fe, and at the acclaimed Dia De Los Muertos Artshow in Mesilla, New Mexico. She is also consistently exhibited at the Tome Gallery in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
