Art in the Garden: Texas Uprising - Selections from the Texas Sculpture Group

Celebrating Contemporary Art Month, the 2011 Art in the Garden installation will feature artists from the Texas Sculpture Group (TSG.) The exhibit is co-sponsored by the San Antonio Botanical Garden and Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, hosting an opening reception on the evening of Friday, March 18.

The show is curated by Lilly Wei who is working with Bill FitzGibbons, President/Executive Director of Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. Ms.Wei has the daunting task of choosing eight works submitted by TSG to best represent the group’s first showing at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
