This series of drawings on paper, acrylic paintings on canvas and silk complex cloth, were inspired by studying fractals of astrocytes and other glial cells in nature.  Working through the art process combined with Continuum Movement, accessing the astrocytes (the stem cells of the brain) which respond to sensation, brings to light the healing potential inherent in our glial cells.  From a movement perspective when you move like something, you are in relationship to it. This exhibit brings the viewer into relationship with the octipodal movement of calcium waves through brain tissues.
