A San Antonio artist born in Guam, Vikky Jones delves into the illusive world of dreams and the subconscious to inspire her drawings, prints, photographs, and videos. A series of black on black drawings and photographs speak with the language of the potentially dark realm of memory and dreams. The fragile, ephemeral quality captured in each piece is echoed in their materials and content, as well as their originations.
Born in Boulder Colorado, Megan Harrison received her BFA from Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD) in May 2008 with an emphasis in sculpture. Megan is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Texas San Antonio. Through drawing and painting Megan investigates the history of mapping and exploration as it relates to the experience of being human.
