Please join Cactus Bra Space for Pencil Pusher, as we re-examine work of artist Ian O’Brien and his fictitious town of Grip River. After Ian O’Brien’s inaugural ground breaking ceremony at Cactus Bra Space in April 2007 the artist began to explore the town’s politics, societal behaviors and now through the help of G.R.A.S. (Grip River Archaeological Society) its earliest cultural identity. In Pencil Pusher, we will examine ancient weapons used by the Nuewhotu to help subjugate the masses.
