Dax Norman will project animated paintings on the Josephine's Wall plus will show actual paintings

Tobin Hill Arts Alliance is presenting its 1st Annual Art Fair, on March 11th and March 12th, located at the Josephine Theater parking lot at 339 W Josephine. As part of the city-wide CAM celebration, on March 11 at 6 pm, the THAA kicks off the event with an opening reception welcoming our District 1 City Councilwoman, Mary Alice Cisneros, “unveil” Urban Art Park-the THAA “Adopt-A-Park” project and introduce the 1st Annual Art Fair with an entertaining projection of digital character animation by Dax Norman against the wall of the Josephine Theater. The unique event will provide music, entertainment, performance and "live" art demonstrations during the evening. A silent auction of the evening's art demonstration will be auctioned at 9:30 pm. The Art Fair is free and open to the public.
Side streets lead to other art galleries and sculptured art studios at our popular 2nd Friday “Art on the Hill” art walk during the evening.
On March 12, 2011 from 9am to 3pm, the THAA will showcase over 30 artists who will exhibit and sell their work on the parking lot of the Josephine Theater. Live music will be provided.
The THAA's mission is to promote art in the Tobin Hill neighborhood by showcasing artists each 2nd Friday of each month.
