This will be a celebration from 6-8PM opening the new Sculpture/Ceramics Graduate Studios on the West Campus of the 1604 UTSA Location. This is a new facility finished this year to house studios for the Students in the MFA Studio Art program of the Department of Art and Art History. President Ricardo Romo will cut the ribbon. There willl be demonstrations of kiln firing, wheel throwing ceramics, pouring bronze, and forging iron. There will also be open studios and exhibited works by graduate, undergraduate students, and faculty from the department.
