The EASTSIDE of SAN ANTONIO is in the middle of a re-investment phase. This cannot happen without the creative power of local artists and the surrounding community. The DIGNOWITY HILL PUSHCART DERBY is an example of the type of event that encourages the community to come together and activate a public space. Artistic Collaboration is a proven agent for positive urban renewal, this PERFORMANCE ART EXPERIMENT is about testing the possibilities of people power.
So whether you build a pushcart or you just want come check it out, put your good chanklas on, bring the suegra y los kids and let the races begin!!!!!!!!
