Jane Bishop and RockPaperScissors Collective

Location

 Jane Bishop takes textile dyes and fiber inks and designs one of a kind fabrics in her studio. Some of the fabrics are upholstery weight, hemp,velours, and twills covering vintage chairs bringing new life to the old and drab.  Bishop works with lighter weight silks and rayons for wearables like her strip tops and scarves.  Jane has invited her artists friends from rockpaperscissors collective to also show at her studio.  We have been showing together for 4 years and we like to find different venues for our shows.  Paula Cox is a printer her imagery is layerd with many layers of color and designs added to cutout wood shapes.  Georgie Cunnigham makes her hand-made papers into intricate woven wall pieces or may use them in her meditation screens she has just started building herself. Pat Guerrero, metal-smith turns flat cold metals into hot organic structures that bejewel the body.
