Phillip Luna

"Ladders" exhibition

Title: Ladders
Artists: Phillip Luna

Phillip Luna’s work (art, music, life) is a reflection of personal suffering and personal celebration. “Ladders” is a manifestation of a life-long struggle with creativity and emotional health. The “ladders” are all broken, dysfunctional, non-working and non-plussed. They are a symbol of the “ladders” which we inherit as our capacity to succeed in our lives and to achieve our own personal goals. The impossible “ladders” in this exhibit are also a direct reflection of one’s broken or otherwise flawed emotional condition.

Phillip Luna is a 37 year old native of San Antonio, Texas. Current and former music groups include Fear Snakeface, Royal Punisher, Worm, 1.0, Shit City Dreamgirls, and Psychics. Phillip has been writing original compositions for websites, theater productions, films and multimedia collaborations through his production company, Even I Have Seizures, for over 16 years. Phillip Luna’s past visual art includes work in photography, acrylic, oil, sculpture, silkscreen, digital and mixed media. He is married to Blanca Luna, and father to three children ages 15, 12, and 9.

Phillip Luna is a dim light in a very dark room.
