Stephanie Shapiro, Mark Ackermann & Hideaki Okada

Stephanie Shapiro (English horn), Mark Ackermann (oboe) and Hideaki Okada (oboe) will give two performances, at 6:30 pm and then again at 7. The first performance, by Shapiro and Ackermann, will consist of movements one, three, and four from Eugene Bozza's Shepherds of Provence. The second performance, but Shapiro, Ackermann, and Okada will consist of three jazz tunes: Birdland (George Shearing), Prelude to a Kiss (Duke Ellington), and Mood Indigo (Duke Ellington). This is the only performance in the series taking place in a theatre space.
