SAMA's musical tour series continues with a trip through the Contemporary Art collection. Musical Offerings performance features works for percussion, violin, viola and others. The program will also include works by Michael Daugherty, Michael Colgrass, and Steve Reich as well as a rare opportunity to hear Harry Bertoia’s Partition of Sound. Stools will be provided for sitting, but they are limited so wear comfortable shoes for standing. Purchase tickets at www.samuseum.org or by calling (210) 978-8121. Please note that there are two performances: 6 pm and 8 pm.
$8 for SAMA members; $12 for non-members. Light reception will be provided between performances.
